The Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 Garland bankruptcy attorneys at Rubin & Associates
Mark Rubin I graduated from law school in 1991. Upon graduation, I was extended an offer to work for Gardere and Wynne, a large law firm with over 200 lawyers. My area of expertise was corporate bankruptcy. After four years of practicing corporate bankruptcy, I realized that there was a far better use of my skills in my area of expertise. I also realized in my early days as an attorney that individuals and small businesses face financial uncertainty every day, and that educating individuals and small businesses regarding debt and financial options is very important.
Thus, I left Gardere and Wynne and started Rubin & Associates in order to educate and represent individuals, families and small businesses who were struggling with debt. When I am not helping individuals with their debt problems, I spend most of my time with my wife and three children, who are actively involved in sports and youth group activities.

Kelli Johnson While I was growing up, I remember periods of financial struggle, especially when it was just my mother and myself. Being able to relate to the financial struggles some of our clients are going through allows me to better appreciate our clients and their dilemmas. When I graduated from TCU in 2001 with a political science degree, I began working during the day as a bankruptcy legal assistant while attending law school at night. After completing law school, I later opened my own bankruptcy practice, and eventually joined Rubin & Associates in 2010. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have a beautiful daughter that lights up every second of our lives.
